India, Dec. 29 -- Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 45 to Rs 6,025 per quintal in futures trade, weighed down by ample supplies in the market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for January delivery fell Rs 45, or 0.75 per cent, to Rs 6,025 per quintal, with an open interest of 47,130 lots.

Market participants attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to rising supplies from key producing regions, which continued to put pressure on prices.
