India, Sept. 23 -- Guar seed futures edged higher by Rs 3 to Rs 4,940 per quintal on Tuesday, as speculators increased positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, October guar seed contracts gained 0.06% to Rs 4,940 per quintal, with an open interest of 48,050 lots. Traders attributed the rise to stronger spot market trends, increased speculative activity, and limited supplies from growing regions.
