India, Nov. 18 -- Guar seed futures gained on Tuesday, rising Rs 8 to Rs 4,689 per quintal, as speculators expanded their positions in line with strong buying in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), December guar seed contracts rose 0.17 per cent to Rs 4,689 per quintal, with an open interest of 56,145 lots.
Market participants said the price rise was driven by firmer spot demand and limited supplies from key producing regions.
