India, Nov. 7 -- Guar seed prices edged lower on Friday as rising arrivals from producing regions weighed on market sentiment.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for December delivery fell Rs 13, or 0.27%, to Rs 4,797 per quintal with an open interest of 40,635 lots.

Analysts said the decline was mainly driven by ample supplies and steady arrivals from growing areas.
