India, May 8 -- Guar seed futures traded lower on Friday due to ample supplies from producing regions, which weighed on market sentiment.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for June delivery fell Rs 20, or 0.35%, to Rs 5,773 per quintal, with an open interest of 54,500 lots.
Market participants said rising arrivals and adequate supply in key producing areas pressured guar seed prices in futures trade.
