India, Dec. 4 -- Guar gum futures declined on Thursday, dropping Rs 17 to Rs 9,025 per quintal, as traders reduced positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum for January delivery fell 0.19%, or Rs 17, to Rs 9,025 per quintal, with 36,860 lots traded.
According to market participants, muted demand in the spot market and adequate supplies from producing regions weighed on guar gum prices.
