India, Dec. 2 -- Guar gum futures rose Rs 26 to Rs 8,954 per quintal on Tuesday as speculators increased their positions amid robust demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), January delivery contracts were up 0.29% at Rs 8,954 per quintal, with an open interest of 32,295 lots.
Analysts noted that the uptick in prices was driven by traders raising their bets in response to firm trends in the physical market.
