India, Aug. 7 -- Guar gum prices rose by Rs 40 to Rs 9,915 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, supported by firm demand in the physical market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), September contracts climbed Rs 40 or 0.40% to Rs 9,915 per quintal, with an open interest of 41,775 lots.
Analysts noted that traders increased their holdings following a strong trend in the spot market, which contributed to the rise in futures prices.
