India, June 20 -- Guar gum prices declined by Rs 3 to Rs 9,545 per quintal on Friday in futures trading, as traders reduced their holdings amid a bearish trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for July delivery dropped Rs 3, or 0.03%, to Rs 9,545 per quintal, with 50,560 lots traded.
According to market participants, sluggish demand in the physical market and sufficient supplies from producing regions weighed on prices.
