India, Oct. 9 -- Guar gum futures fell by Rs 30 to Rs 8,900 per quintal on Thursday as traders offloaded positions following a soft trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), November delivery contracts dropped 0.34%, trading in 37,510 lots.

Traders cited sluggish demand in the spot market and ample supplies from major growing regions as key factors weighing on prices.
