India, Sept. 9 -- Guar gum futures advanced Rs 49 to Rs 9,239 per quintal on Tuesday as traders raised their holdings, tracking firm demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), September delivery contracts rose Rs 49, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 9,239 per quintal with an open interest of 43,385 lots.
Analysts said fresh bets by participants, supported by a strong physical market trend, pushed prices higher.
