India, April 24 -- GPT Infraprojects Limited has announced the successful commissioning of its new Steel Girder and Components manufacturing facility at Village Majinan, PS Gurap, in Hooghly district, West Bengal, on April 24, 2025. The facility has an initial production capacity of 10,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA).
Located about 60 km from Kolkata, the company is currently in the process of obtaining RDSO approval for manufacturing steel bridge girders at the site.
