India, Dec. 16 -- The government on Monday appointed Ravi Ranjan as the new Managing Director of State Bank of India (SBI).
Ranjan, who earlier served as the bank's Deputy Managing Director, has succeeded Vinay M. Tonse upon the completion of his term on November 30, 2025. Following the government notification, he assumed charge on Monday, SBI said in a regulatory filing.
