India, Nov. 12 -- Gold prices continued their upward rally on Wednesday, soaring by Rs 2,000 to Rs 1,27,900 per 10 grams in the national capital, driven by strong trends in the global markets, according to the All India Sarafa Association.

The price of gold with 99.5% purity rose to Rs 1,27,900 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes), up from Rs 1,25,900 recorded on Monday.

With this, the yellow metal has gained Rs 3,300 per 10 grams over the last two sessions, reflecting sustained investor demand and bullish global sentiment toward safe-haven assets.
