India, Sept. 3 -- Gold prices soared to a fresh lifetime peak of Rs 1,06,199 per 10 grams on Wednesday, marking the 11th consecutive session of gains as investors flocked to safe-haven assets amid U.S. trade tariff uncertainty and weak global equities.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the October gold futures jumped Rs 407 or 0.38 per cent to touch an all-time high of Rs 1,06,199 per 10 grams in early trade. The December contract also hit a record, rising Rs 286 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 1,07,150 per 10 grams.
