India, Aug. 14 -- Gold prices climbed Rs 112 to ?1,00,297 per 10 grams in futures trade on Thursday as speculators built fresh positions amid strong spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), October delivery contracts were trading higher by Rs 112, or 0.11%, at Rs 1,00,297 per 10 grams, with a turnover of 13,099 lots.
In the global market, Comex gold futures for December delivery gained 0.23% to USD 3,363.64 per ounce in New York.
