India, April 22 -- Gold prices extended their winning streak for the fourth consecutive session on Tuesday, soaring by Rs 1,899 to reach a new all-time high of Rs 99,178 per 10 grams, fueled by strong safe-haven demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the most actively traded June gold futures surged nearly 2% in early trade to touch the record high. As the session progressed, the contract eased slightly to Rs 98,880 per 10 grams—still up Rs 1,601 or 1.65%—with an open interest of 22,687 lots.
