India, Dec. 11 -- Glenmark Pharmaceuticals announced on Thursday that it will introduce a generic version of Leucovorin Calcium for Injection USP in the US market this month. The medication is used to treat anaemia and to prevent severe side effects associated with high doses of drugs that interfere with folic acid activity in the body.
Its US subsidiary, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., USA, will begin distributing the 350 mg/vial single-dose formulation later this month, the company said in a regulatory filing.
According to IQVIA data for the 12 months ending October 2025, the branded product recorded annual sales of approximately USD 16.8 million.
