India, Nov. 14 -- The Government e Marketplace (GeM) welcomed a delegation of 24 senior government officials from 23 ITEC partner countries at its head office as part of a capacity-building initiative under its MoU with the Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM).

The visit aimed to enhance international cooperation on digital public procurement reforms and showcased India's progress in creating a transparent, efficient, and technology-driven procurement ecosystem. Delegates explored GeM's key pillars — capacity-building, thought leadership, Communities of Practice, and global advocacy — which are designed to improve procurement performance and accessibility.
