India, Sept. 25 -- GAIL (India) Limited, the country's integrated energy major, is nearing completion of the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Pipeline (MNJPL), a key component of the National Gas Grid under the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan. The 1,707 km natural gas pipeline, passing through Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, is designed to provide clean fuel and meet the demands of the CGD and industrial sectors.
The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has identified 17 Geographical Areas covering 60 districts along the pipeline network.
