India, May 7 -- The Finance Ministry on Wednesday invited public suggestions and comments on its draft framework for a climate finance taxonomy.
According to the ministry, the proposed taxonomy aims to enhance the flow of resources toward climate-resilient technologies and initiatives, supporting India's commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2070 while ensuring sustained access to affordable and reliable energy.
The draft document outlines the guiding approach, objectives, and principles that will shape the development and implementation of the taxonomy.
