India, Dec. 30 -- Escorts Kubota Ltd on Tuesday said it has received a tax demand, including interest and penalty, amounting to over Rs 3.4 crore from the Maharashtra tax authorities over an issue related to the eligibility of input tax credit.

In a regulatory filing, the company said the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, Pune South, Maharashtra, has passed an order confirming a tax demand of Rs 1,76,29,853, along with interest of Rs 1,46,58,378 and a penalty of Rs 17,62,985.

The company added that the order was received on December 29, 2025.
