India, Nov. 18 -- Electric passenger vehicle retail sales surged 57 per cent year-on-year in October to 18,055 units, according to data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).
In the same month last year, total EV passenger vehicle retails stood at 11,464 units.
Tata Motors continued to lead the segment with 7,239 units sold in October, registering a 10 per cent year-on-year growth. MG Motor India followed with 4,549 units, posting a sharp 63 per cent rise compared to the year-ago period.
