India, March 6 -- Electric passenger vehicle registrations increased 44 per cent year-on-year in February, according to dealers' body Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).
Total retail sales rose to 13,733 units during the month, compared with 9,505 units in the same period last year.
Tata Motors led the segment with registrations of 5,568 units, marking a 38.5 per cent increase over 4,020 units recorded in February of the previous year.
