India, Dec. 10 -- The Department of Posts has initiated several measures to prevent potential revenue leakage across its services, the Ministry of Communications informed on Wednesday.
Multiple meetings have been held at various levels, including one chaired by the Minister of State for Communications, to identify operational and fraud risks based on available information. Key vulnerabilities include deficiency in postage realization, use of used or fake stamps, inadequate postage in prepaid articles, and breaches of conditions related to registered newspapers.
