India, Dec. 18 -- Cyient Semiconductors has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Kinetic Technologies, a global leader in power management, high-performance analog, and mixed-signal integrated circuits, for a total consideration of up to USD 93 million. The acquisition creates a scaled platform in the $40+ billion global power semiconductor market, accelerating Cyient Semiconductors' growth across data centers, electrification, automotive, networking, industrial automation, and the rapidly expanding edge AI and high-performance compute segments.
