India, Oct. 20 -- Crude oil prices eased by Rs 27 to Rs 5,026 per barrel in futures trade on Monday as traders cut positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil for November delivery declined by Rs 27, or 0.53%, to Rs 5,026 per barrel, with a turnover of 3,713 lots.
Analysts said the decline was primarily driven by profit-booking and sluggish buying activity in the physical market.
