India, Sept. 29 -- Crude oil futures declined by Rs 26, settling at Rs 5,807 per barrel on Monday, as market participants reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.

On the Multi-Commodity Exchange, October delivery contracts fell 0.45% to Rs 5,807 per barrel across 10,883 lots. Analysts attributed the decline to participants offloading holdings in response to weak spot market demand.
