India, Nov. 24 -- Crude oil futures edged lower on Monday, falling by Rs 2 to Rs 5,195 per barrel as traders pared positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), December crude oil contracts eased by Rs 2, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs 5,195 per barrel in a trading volume of 16,200 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to participants unwinding positions in response to weak spot market demand.
