India, Nov. 7 -- Crude oil prices climbed on Friday as traders increased positions tracking stronger demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil for November delivery rose rs 48, or 0.91%, to Rs 5,310 per barrel in a turnover of 12,112 lots.

Analysts said higher bets by participants and improved demand outlook supported the uptrend in crude oil futures.
