India, Nov. 18 -- Crude oil prices declined by Rs 54 to Rs 5,278 per barrel on Tuesday, as weak global cues and oversupply concerns led traders to pare their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), December crude oil futures slipped Rs 54, or 1.01%, to Rs 5,278 per barrel in 11,479 lots.

According to analysts, the downturn in crude was mainly influenced by subdued international demand and cautious sentiment ahead of key global supply reports.
