India, Sept. 4 -- Crude oil futures slipped Rs 46 to Rs 5,588 per barrel on Thursday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), tracking weak global cues amid speculation that OPEC+ could announce another production hike.
On the MCX, crude oil contracts for October delivery dropped 0.82% to Rs 5,588 per barrel with a turnover of 11,320 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 1.03% to USD 63.31 per barrel, while Brent crude declined nearly 1% to USD 66.94 per barrel.
