India, Dec. 2 -- Crude oil futures climbed Rs 21 to Rs 5,342 per barrel on Tuesday as traders increased their positions amid firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), January delivery contracts were up 0.39% at Rs 5,342 per barrel, with a total of 2,329 lots traded.
