India, Oct. 31 -- Crude oil prices declined by Rs 45 to Rs 5,346 per barrel on Friday in futures trade, as traders reduced positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil for November delivery fell by Rs 45, or 0.83%, to Rs 5,346 per barrel, with a business turnover of 14,202 lots.

Analysts said the decline was primarily driven by participants offloading holdings due to weak spot market demand.
