India, Oct. 31 -- Cottonseed oil cake prices fell by Rs 15 to Rs 2,968 per quintal on Friday in futures trade, as traders trimmed positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), cottonseed oil cake for December delivery declined by Rs 15, or 0.51%, to Rs 2,968 per quintal, with an open interest of 19,170 lots.
Analysts said the decline was largely due to profit-booking by participants at existing levels and a subdued trend in the physical market.
