India, March 17 -- Cottonseed oil cake prices slipped by Rs 2 to Rs 3,438 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday, as participants reduced their positions amid a soft trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, April delivery contracts fell Rs 2, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 3,438 per quintal, with an open interest of 54,470 lots.
Analysts said the decline was driven by profit booking and subdued demand at prevailing price levels, which weighed on market sentiment.
