India, June 2 -- Cosmo First, a global leader in films for packaging, lamination, labelling, and synthetic paper, has successfully commissioned a new BOPP (Biaxially Oriented PolyPropylene) film manufacturing line at its existing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The project, backed by a capital expenditure of over ?400 crore, features the world's most advanced technology in BOPP production.
The newly added line has an annual rated capacity of 81,200 metric tonnes, boosting the company's total BOPP film capacity by approximately 40% to 2,77,000 metric tonnes.
