India, March 19 -- Copper futures increased by 0.12% to ?909.40 per kilogram on Wednesday, driven by stronger spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, April delivery copper contracts rose by ?1.10 or 0.12% to ?909.40 per kg, with a trading volume of 4,130 lots.

According to analysts, the price hike was supported by increased participant interest and higher bets.
