India, Dec. 1 -- Copper futures declined on Monday, dropping Rs 9.30 to Rs 1,045 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), as traders cut positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.
The December contract fell 0.9%, with a trading volume of 8,705 lots.
Analysts said the weakness was primarily driven by lower participant activity and muted market demand.
