India, March 13 -- Copper prices declined Rs 2.10 to Rs 1,221 per kg in futures trade on Friday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), copper contracts for April delivery fell Rs 2.10, or 0.17%, to Rs 1,221 per kg, with a business turnover of 63 lots.
Market participants said subdued demand from consuming industries in the domestic market pressured copper prices in futures trading.
