India, July 23 -- Copper prices declined by 0.09% to Rs 903.20 per kilogram in futures trade on Wednesday, as traders trimmed their positions amid weak demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for August delivery fell by 85 paise to Rs 903.20 per kg, with a business volume of 5,311 lots.

Analysts said the dip in prices was primarily due to reduced buying interest and lower participation in the market.
