India, Oct. 30 -- Copper prices declined by Rs 6.40 to Rs 1,015 per kg on Thursday in futures trade, as traders trimmed their positions amid weak demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for November delivery fell 0.63% to Rs 1,015 per kg in 8,589 lots.
Analysts said the downturn was primarily driven by reduced buying activity and lower bets from market participants.
