India, Nov. 24 -- Copper futures declined on Monday, dropping Rs 2.80 to Rs 1,009 per kilogram as traders trimmed positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), December copper contracts eased by Rs 2.80, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 1,009 per kg, with a trading volume of 7,093 lots.
Analysts said the fall in prices was mainly driven by reduced participation and lower betting activity.
