India, Nov. 7 -- Copper prices edged higher on Friday, supported by strong demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for November delivery climbed Rs 2.75, or 0.27%, to Rs 1,002.75 per kilogram with a turnover of 9,722 lots.
Market analysts said the uptick was driven by fresh buying from participants amid improved demand from industrial consumers.
