India, Dec. 10 -- Copper futures gained on Wednesday, rising 0.8% to Rs 1,097.40 per kg, supported by higher demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for January delivery advanced Rs 8.70, or 0.8%, to Rs 1,097.40 per kg, with a business turnover of 2,210 lots.
Analysts said increased bets by participants contributed to the upward movement in copper prices.
