India, April 7 -- Copper prices advanced by 0.25% to Rs 1,180 per kg in futures trade on Tuesday, supported by firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for May delivery increased by Rs 3 to Rs 1,180 per kg, with a turnover of 126 lots.
Analysts said the uptick was driven by fresh positions built by traders, reflecting improved demand conditions.
