India, May 2 -- Copper prices advanced by 0.69% to ?839.80 per kilogram in Friday's futures trade, driven by firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for June delivery climbed ?5.75 to ?839.80 per kg, with a trading volume of 640 lots.
Analysts linked the price uptick to increased buying interest and higher participation by market players.
