India, Dec. 12 -- Copper futures gained 0.22% to Rs 1,123.20 per kg on Friday, supported by increased demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), January copper contracts advanced by Rs 2.45 to Rs 1,123.20 per kg, with a turnover of 2,879 lots.
Analysts said the uptick in prices was driven by higher speculative bets from market participants amid firm spot demand.
