India, Dec. 4 -- Copper prices moved higher in futures trade on Thursday, gaining 0.77% to Rs 1,092.50 per kg amid improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for January delivery advanced by Rs 8.40, or 0.77%, to Rs 1,092.50 per kg, with a turnover of 1,594 lots.
Analysts said the uptick in prices was driven by increased buying and fresh positions taken by market participants.
