India, Oct. 20 -- Copper prices gained 0.39% to Rs 993 per kilogram in futures trade on Monday, supported by improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for November delivery rose Rs 3.85, or 0.39%, to Rs 993 per kg, with a turnover of 6,249 lots.
Analysts said increased buying by participants amid higher demand from consuming industries pushed copper prices higher.
